Welcome to the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) Wokingham & Woodley Branch. RAFA is a forward-looking organisation and a registered charity, with over 74,000 members worldwide. It provides friendship and welfare support for serving and ex-serving RAF personnel and their dependants; we are proud to help over 40,000 individuals each year. We hope that as you read further through our website that you will be motivated to join our Branch. Over the years our Branch has been active we have been very lucky in having people prepared to give up their time and talents in assisting the Royal Air Force Family, sadly many are no longer with us but if you are a RAFA member who has not joined in for a while it would be great to see you again, we know you will still have plenty to offer.
Our local branch is a community of military veterans their spouses and other associate members. We get together once a month for a formal meeting or to visit places of interest to our members.
Our mission is to continue the special comradeship known to service personnel and to provide a meeting place and forum for social interaction. As a part of our Branch, you will be helping to further the kindred friendships you experienced whilst serving in the RAF and you will also be helping RAFA to carry out its vital welfare work to keep the RAF Family united and strong.
